Hi, my laptop was booting into bios last night and crashing when installing windows through a disk. I then flattened the bios battery by turning it upside down in the battery bay and then tried booting up again but this time I get no display my fans arnt spinning or anything... I have tried a brand new bios battery and tried removing the hardrive with no luck.
Any ideas? Could it be dead?

Thanks, Shaun

Hi,

Do you mean you flip the battery orientation then boot the laptop up? Is there any lights at all in the laptop? If there's no light or whatsoever the problem may lie on the motherboard already. Try contacting the manufacturer if it's still under the factory warranty for a repair or if it's not voided yet due to changing the battery orientation.
