Can I upgrade cpu for dell inspiron 3010 form i5 to i7?

The socket should match but I would not do this. You'll void any warranty on the system, you will add an unknown extra amount of heat that the system may not be able to deal with, and the cost will be close to that of a new laptop if you count the labor.
