Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic Front Audio Question

I recently purchased the front audio port adapter from Performance-PCS (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=83&products_id=21700) and when I plugged it into the AC' 97 pin header I lose my front right and rear right speakers. I then plugged it into the HD Audio pin header and I am able to get my headphones to work but the microphone will not work. Before I did this, I tested the mic on the rear port of the sound card and it functioned correctly. Has anyone had this problem before?

Maybe there shorts from your audio port adapter. Test the wires with OHM Meter.
