Creative speaker problems

I have a set of Creative surround sound speakers (not sure of the model) and they are 5.1 but at any given moment only 4 of them work the 5th one gives out a sort of static noise i really need help with fixing this

Try connecting a working speaker to the connection for the distorted speaker,
If the good speaker still sounds good the bad speaker itself is the problem.
If the good speaker sounds bad then the amp or processor is bad. When out of warranty it's often cheaper to replace the entire package than repair.
