Cut wire to add more wire will loose audio quality?

Hi i the speakers dont go where i want so i need to cut the wire and add more 7 meters of wire. Doing this the speakers will loose sound quality? Thanks

If you solder it nicely and use shrink tube there shouldn't be any problems.

And if i cut, remove the plastic around and join with my hands one wire with each other and then put adhesive tape?
I want to put 10 meters in oe speaker and 7 on another...

Why not just get longer wire? You don't have to worry about messing up the shielding then. Speaker wire, unless you go for the high end stuff is cheap, even in the thicker guages.

Depends on the speakers, If they are the cheaper ones with wired already connected without plugs, then to extend them you will need to cut and splice.

When you were talking about speaker wire I was thinking about speakers without wires pre-attached.

Just make sure you strip enough insulation off to easily work on them and use electrical tape not regular tape.

You can add wire to those, at the ends where they connect to the reciever.
