Solved! D drive cannot be found

I have an Asus Rog laptop. After running Windows update, 1Tb D drive cannot be found. Only C drive (118gb) detected. Couldn't be found in disk management either. I did hard reset to fresh state, still no D drive. Please help.

Your drive may have failed. Try going into the BIOS and see if it appears there. If not, probably toast. You can try to remove the drive, connect it to a USB adapter and see if your can see it then. There is a very small chance that some interface circuitry on the motherboard failed and the drive is still good.

Cannot be found on BIOS as well, i'll try your recommendation and test if drive still good. Thank you
