DAC/Amp for HD598?

Hello!

I was wondering a couple things.

Would I see a notable difference in audio quality if I were to buy a DAC/Amp for my Sennheiser HD 598s? (I am currently using the onboard audio from my ASUS Z170-A Motherboard.)

If yes, What would be the best DAC/Amp (preferably in the $50 to $180 price range) to buy?

Not worth buying, you will notice a subtle change at best with something like a Schiit stack. More volume for sure though and you get a physical volume knob (depending on the model).

Unless you're hearing background noise with onboard there is no need for an external dac.
