you guys are slow.
I noticed that a long time ago.
First time i saw the video.
Not hating.

"I thought it was a little bit lying to present it that way because it will let [consumers] think that they will [see] something that they are not really close to getting."

What, like a 360 that doesn't red ring?

Ooh troll bait!

"Did anyone notice that the scanned skateboard didn't show his fingers on the virtual Xbox 360 version? Now that's impressive technology!" - More formally known as Adobe's new content aware fill!

they actually included within the beginning of the video a disclaimer that says "proposed capabilities" of the natal or something like that to indicate that the actual one probably would not work like in the video. People are just trying to make a issue out of a non issue.

i like natal but i am afraid it will cause so many problems and errors to the console itself. i bought 6 xboxes so far i even have the latest one and battlefield bad co.2 still hangs . i am afraid that the technology will take so much of the processing power that it will make more hang/heat/rrod problems

[citation][nom]HalJordan[/nom]You mean a company exaggerated the merits of one of its products in order to sell it? I am shocked…shocked and appalled. Next you will tell me the iPad is not really magical! However, this explains why I don’t get hot women all over me when I use my Axe body spray. They lied to me![/citation]
wait, Axe doesn't work for you? did you do the double pits to chesty? works every single time man

i notice it from the first time i see this video..

cmon people it's just a promotional video and the project natal isn't here yet, take it easy.. they just want to make us know how the device can work, not exactly how it work.

LOL. I hate to tell people, but no company can be truthful in advertising their products (especially game developers). By the time they have a working product, they want to be shipping.

So the advertising phase (before release) has to be some exaggeration of what the product is currently capable of doing. They are advertising their goals.

Sure, some companies down-right lie. I'm not telling you they don't. But how many game trailers do you think would look that good if you turned the camera view around or went through the door they stop at? The advertising is just to give you an idea of what the product you will be buying in a few months is. Will they meet 100% of their goals? Not likely. Is it wrong? In my opinion, not really as long as you hit the major features you advertised or as long as you stop advertising those features well before the launch.

Just my opinion though.

I don't care it looks better than the Wii, with the better graphics at least, I still don't understand Nintendos to remake the Gamecube just with a stick to play with instead.

I don't think AXE works for anyone over the age of 21...

But I think their 1st TV ADs is still one of the best, with the cheerleader tackling the running back before he can score.

Please... PS3 did this even more before it came out. Anyone remember that video of Killzone 2?!? It looked AMAZING and they said it was supposed to be in game rendering...HA! They did this with alot of videos demonstrating the PS3... They even actually LIED! They said the new Eyetoy was supposed to come with an HD sensor and it still only captures VGA quality video...

Sony.............FACE!

Hmm the developer made "Heavy Rain" exclusively for PS3 and they are b!tching about Natal on a competing platform? Nothing surprising here rolleyes

Seems my post was attacked by the Sonyfanboys. Maybe it went over their heads, but software already has a number of ways to correct obscured images, either from occluding objects or from damaged images with gaps. Autofill and Restore folks. Scanning realworld objects, even in realtime, into a game isn't new either.

As for looking in the mirror, Sony and their development studios have a looong history (even just this gen) with the BS. Sony complaining about a CONCEPT video for unfinished hard/software when Sony has pushed out CGI as GAMEPLAY ... come on, do these guys think we are that dull? Oh, the -9 votes must say so.
