Dead after attempt to unlock 4th core?

Hi All,

Built pc with Athlon II X3 435 and Windows 7 and it's been working fine for the last few weeks.

I attempted to unlock the 4th core (using ACC / Unleashing mode in the Asus Mobo Bios) and when I saved changes and attempted to reboot, got a BSOD that flashed quickly and then reboot.

So i figure the 4th core isnt unlockable but now when I went back in and turned ACC off, when I try to boot on the 3 cores, Win7 won't start.

It gives me the option to start normally or start in repair mode. Neither one gets anywhere. They just hang forever.

Any ideas?

got it working. Something went screwy in the BIOS so i restored defaults and that allowed me to run the repair. thanks for looking anyways.

try unlocking the 4th core again and repair windows a BSOD maybe because the Windows 7 HAL is detecting unrecognisable hardware
