Solved! Dead Dell 7000

My Dell won't power up. No lights.
I tried with a brand new charger. Still no power.
I'm not a tech expert.

First step, check on Dell support site to see if system is in warranty. If it is, work with them. If not, you need to be able to do some work on the laptop to see what is happening, check without battery, remove RAM, hard drive and CMOS battery if there is one, etc... You are probably going to either have someone around you that knows how to work on laptops or bring it to a computer shop to check if it's out of warranty.
