Hello folks! I need some help on finding a New laptop. I need it for school, but also for gaming and photo editing. I do have a desk top, but i am looking to replace it/ get a bit of an upgrade. I do know a bit about desktops, but not much about laptops. The games I'm looking to play are Rust, GTA V+, battlefield 1. I'm not looking for something to play those games at ultra settings, but I would like to get smooth 50-60 fps at medium (or higher). I would also like the laptop to last a good few years, but I am not sure what I should get or what specs to look for other than storage and ram. If anyone has any recommendations or advice, please let me know! Thank you!
Note: if it could run as well or a bit better than current gen consoles, that would be a big bonus :)

Hello Galacticfox,

I've done a bit of hunting around and I've picked a couple out that I think you will like:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#1 + CYBERPOWERPC Tracer II T15300 ($814.99) -

It's slightly above your budget and packs the most performance compared to the rest, but does appear pretty bulky - so this would be a decision only you can make.

It packs a very fast i7-7700HQ (Quad-core), GTX 1050TI, 8GB's DDR4 RAM and a 256 SDD - You should have no problem gaming with this impressive system...

Hello Galacticfox,

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#2 +Acer Nitro 5 ($749.99)

It packs packs a high-end i5-7300HQ (Quad-core), GTX 1050TI, 8GB's and a 256 SSD - Still a good system paired with the high-end GTX 1050ti, but the price reflects the reduction in CPU model. Overall, you will be able to game comfortably.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#3 +Dell Inspiron 15.6 ($797.97 )

Same exact specifications as the 'Acer' model above, the benefit being, it appears to be slightly less bulky then the 'Acer' & 'CyberPower' - Differences in design obviously, so that would be something that only you can decide upon.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4# +Lenovo Legion Y520 ($799.00)

And again same specifications as the two above - seems slightly more compact and minimalist than the Dell.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I feel there's a lot of variety in this list, with little differences in specifications. Have a good look, but only you will be able to decide, I've just provided the models that will suit your needs.

Hope that helps,
SM
