Hello everyone,
I am looking to add some speakers to me "home theater" setup. It is in quotations because it is really on a budget. I have my HTPC hooked up to my TV and a 2.1 Cyber Acoustic computer speaker set up hooked up to the HTPC for sound. I took them from my PC rig, since I pretty much use headphones, but I would like to put them back and find a decent, yet budget friendly audio system.
I am looking for a 2.1 system, although I am open to pretty much anything. I am looking for a clear sound, but nothing booming like in a theater. I am pretty hard of hearing, in that it is hard for me to hear voices. I have to turn up the TV, when I use the audio on it, when characters are speaking. However, when music or audio special effects come on, I have to turn it down because it is way too loud.
If anyone has any suggestions, help or advice, I would surely appreciate the input. My budget is between $100-200. I would like to keep it to the former or midway, if I can. Low, but that is what I am working with.
Thank you in advance for your help!
