decent laptop for music

Need a decent computer to store and play music. Would like the battery to last 3 hours when unplugged. Concerned about the top 3 specs: laptop is also "refurbished" and I don't know what that entails in tech world. Appreciate any wisdom you can impart. Its around 400 bucks.

Depending how "golden" your ears is, a laptop may not be suitable.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. So what did you think about the specs and should I be concerned about the fact the computer is "refurbished". I do want to do more than play music: I want to compose. I want to surf the web when I feel like it too. I don't want to use my phone to do it. I want something bigger than that.
