del d630 powers on no fan or display hd is running

fan was running and the display was working. All of a sudden no fan or display. hd is running

Try reconnecting the PSU cable or flipping the switch off then on again. Otherwise the PSU might have died. Have another one to test it with?

The cable on the back of the power supply PSU is just a shorted version of Power Supply. You can also try flipping the switch on it. It might have just gotten bumped.

this is a laptop, are you talking about the swith on the desktop PSU.

Yea sorry man 🙁 I dont know about laptops. Could be a motherboard or processor but laptops are hard to work on
