Flashing amber light, battery will not charge. does this mean that the battery is defective or what is the most likely problem.
dell 5559 says 0% available (plugged in, not charging)

Yes, first thing I'd check is the battery. May be the charger or something on the motherboard but usually the battery is the issue.
