Dell 5737 Windows 10 AMD Radeon HD 8870M Problem

i have the same laptop, and the same problem as bs06! i write so many emails to amd to do soemthing with this problem, but they never answered, amd support is the worst support ever. if you will find the solution bro please let me know on my email. * Mod edit for personal info *

I have a Inspiron 17R 5737 Laptop with two video cards (Intel HD graphics family and AMD Radeon HD 8870M ). After the update of windows 8.1 to 10, i see the AMD card in device manager enable

You would not be contacting AMD for support for a laptop, laptop support is handled by the laptop vendor, Dell in your case.

so its not about AMD? its about dell? i get on the dell support and there is the last AMD version update from 2015, there is now newest version of my graph card. so i am asking its really dell problem?

Laptops, including the video cards, are supported by the laptop vendor. That includes driver support. If you use drivers outside of the supported ones by the laptop vendor, there can be issues.

that is what i am saying, that when i go to dell support and i am searching there for my graphic card that is inside the laptop there are two graphic cards, the one is intel hd, and the other is amd hd8870m with the latest newest version of it from 2015!!! my games in computer are working with intel hd graphic, all the games in the graphic options have only the intel hd graphic choose, there is no choose of my amd graphic card!. on manager devices thes is any probem with the amd card, it is saying that it is up to date etc. and whole my pc games doesnt ever find this amd card.

Do not use device manager to search for a newer driver, install the one from the Dell web site. You are right, they do not update their video drivers often in most cases, once support ends for the laptop, they generally stop updating many drivers. The issues with laptops is that once you get away from using the stock build and drivers, the dual graphics tends to break and it can't swap to the second video card. Microsoft with Windows updates does not care too much if newer software breaks this, and the laptop vendor does not either for older systems, they will just say to use the original configuration.

So in connclusion it is better to buy all the computer equipment seperately every hardware and make your own tower. ?because laptop vendor doesnt care.
