Dell 7577 Not turning on

I just got my Dell 7577 gaming laptop a few weeks ago and its not turning on. I was playing a heavily modded skyrim for around 20mins then all of a sudden the laptop shuts down. Even the charger was affected by the incident. When trying to turn it on, there was no light whatsover,nada. I tried another dell charger then Ive noticed on the LED light on the charger started blinking continously instead of it being steady. Is my laptop completely shorted?

Yep, I can confirm it got shorted by a surge.

try removing the battery then plugging in the ac adaptor is the light still blinking ?
if yes then board is fubar, get laptop replaced
if not, its the battery pack that needs replacing.

where you using software to overclock your laptop ?
