Anyone using this combo? Lots of folks bad-mouthing Dell on the Cakewalk
forums but I'm very happy with my 5150. Through my employer I can get a Dell
8400 system w a P4 3.2ghz 800mz FSB, 1GB 533mhz memory, 160GB of HD,
firewire card, dual DVD +-R drives, etc., for about $900.

Anyone having any success with this system?

Can't think of why that wouldn't work well.

Me neither. Many folks in the cakewalk forums complained of IRQ sharing and
the inability of the dell bios to separate shared IRQs even though plenty
were free.

I use a firewire audio device (presonus firepod) and hopefully being a PCI
card, the firewire card will have its own IRQ. I think some folks
complaining may have been doing USB audio.

<Dell tech support, which is a nightmare>

100% agreed there.
