DELL AC adaptor

Hi,
I am having a strange problem with my laptop.Suddenly it showed the sign that plugged in not charging.I shot down the system .Then it showed The adaptor not meets the requirements(I got this adaptor by dell).What I did is I used my friend's adaptor and it's charging my lappy.Then I tried to charge my friend's lappy with my adaptor and it works!

But my adaptor dsnt charge my lappy

check to make sure the volts/ amps/ and wattage matches your laptop. I have a dell d630 which uses a 90 watt adapter and have a precision m4500 that uses a 130 watt adapter. both will work, but the 90 watt adapter gives the warning that it is not correct / does not meet requirements.
