Dell Business for Games

I should probably qualify the absurdity of this question before I actually ask it. I'm beginning my senior year of high school this fall, and need a new laptop. My mom, being a small business owner, is willing to buy it for my 18th birthday, and wants to charge it to her business account through Dell. She is limited to only laptops in the business categories of Dell's websites as far as things that can be bought with her account.

I would like a computer that can run games acceptably. I know that there's no way I can expect max graphics, and I'm okay with that, but I'd like to play, as an example, Borderlands 2 smoothly on any graphics setting. I would like that kind of capability.

As for price range, I don't know that there is one. The absolute highest is $1500.

With my limited knowledge of computers, I found the XPS 17 and the Vostro 3560, but neither had very great graphics cards. Maybe I'm overlooking something? I'd appreciate it if somebody could look through the website for me and see if they can find something I overlooked through my lack of understanding.

Thanks a lot! I appreciate it. If anybody has any experience with Dell customer service and knows if arguing for an Alienware with that type of account is possible, I'd appreciate that too.

The NVS 5200M is the workstation equivalent of a GT 540M.

EDIT: Link is acting funny, its a Dell Latitude E6430, it is 14 inch, has an i5 2310m, and 8GB of RAM.

If the XPS models listed under the small/medium business section of Dell's website still apply, then you can get an XPS17 with a GT550m 1GB and an i7-2670QM for right around $1000. Looking through these benchmarks (the game are toward the bottom), the 550m is a solid card that will probably be able to (at least) get 40+ fps on Borderlands 2 with low settings (but that's just speculation).

Edit: I should note I've played around with my friends' XPS17s (both have the 550m, IIRC) and they are very capable laptops for gaming. One of them only has the i5-2410m (a lowerish end dual core) and still handles games like Skyrim on high settings at 1080p (through a TV; not the native resolution).

Well fortunately for you the Dell XPS laptops are sold in the small business / medium business category so you can configure on to your liking and within your mom's budget.
