Dell charger problem

My dell laptop is two years old.I was working on the laptop and suddenely the laptop went off.now i m pressing the power button but the laptop is not working.The battery was not fully drained because while i was working i did nt get the "need to charge notification" .I was working and suddenely it went off.Now the charger indicator glows but once i plug in the charger into the laptop the light turns off. I tried reinserting the battery but it did not work.If i on the power supply with the charger plugged into the laptop, the green light glows and goes off after a second.What should i do?

I tried with other dell chargers, the same case as in if the charger is plugged into the laptop and i give the power supply the indicator light glows for a second and becomes off. And if I first give the power supply and then plug in the charger as usual it wents off.My charger is able to charge other laptops.help me.....
