Dell Erratic Touchpad

Hello Everyone,My laptop is a dell Inspiron n5110.My Touchpad is erratic and im required to use my mouse instead.I tried installing drivers for the touchpad but that didnt do.It made the movement more weird.I brought the laptop to a repair shop and replaced the touchpad,But that didnt repair it either.The touchpad is completely clean,but still doesnt work properly and the cursor is erratic.Please Help me.

Some people have noticed this occurs when the power lead is plugged in something you could try is disabling on how you computer powers off on battery and mains go to control panel then click on power option click on change plan setting then set everything to never turn off See what happens

Hi what exactly are you experiencing in the erratic behavior when you took the laptop in for repair did they not show you it working correctly.
Does this happen straight away or after a period of time when booted into Windows?
Dell n5110 have a touch-pad issue anyway they do recommend you update driver or load a different driver but I think there must be a more logical answer,
First explain what your cursor is doing from boot up. ie...does it move in the same direction up, down, left, right, disappear?
