Hello there, I've bought this Dell Inspiron Gaming 7000:
Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @
2.80GHz 2.81GHz
Intel HD Graphics 630
RAM 8gb
Windows 10 64bits

To my understanding, this spec should give me an amazing experience for mundane tasks such as browsing the web, but that's not what's happening. The systems takes a life to boot and it's unable to open any application in less than 50 seconds. What can I do? I know i have a good machine, i think I have to do a hard reboot on it. Any thoughts/helps, please?

Swap that hard drive for a ssd. Laptops with hard drives are unusable for me. I'd rather have a $200 laptop with a ssd replacement than a $1500 laptop any day for my usage (on the laptop)

Also check your temps during that run the cpu being that slow makes me wonder if it's overheating as well

I live in Brazil and that stuff is not really afordabble here. It's also hot hahaha. DO you know if there is anything i could do from a software perspective for a while whilst I save money to do theses upgrades?
