Dell inspiron 1525 screen replacement

Hello, my Dell 1525 screen went white when turning on, I could here the rest of the whole process of turning on like the windows' chime at start up but the screen was just white and a few vertical thin lines started to appear. Does any one know what can be causing this?

sounds like the unit ran hot at one time and now the IGP (video) has blown.
there is no replacing just the IGP, you would need a new system board.
does it work in safe mode.?
