Dell Inspiron 1525 screen went bad...

I bought a replacement LCD on Amazon and apparently, while it fits and works, it is not the exact right model because I am having issues with brightness. I also bought an inverter, which is in the mail, will changing this help with my brightness isssues?

Inverter came today, and to answer my own question... NO!
