Dell inspiron 17R. Can it run Assassins creed 3? and on what settings? Please help me xD ive been wondering for a while

This CPU is too weak to play, trust me b/c I have the same CPU as you .

But do you have the same GPU???

I could be mistaken. Korosaki Kira, try registering and asking the question here to be sure: http://gamesystemrequirements.com/game/assassins-creed-iii

There is a statement that says:
** SUPPORTED VIDEO CARDS AT TIME OF RELEASE: nVidia GeForce 8800GT or better, GeForce 9, GT200, GT400, GT500, GT600 series; AMD Radeon HD4850 or better, HD5000, HD6000, HD7000 series; Laptop versions of these cards may work but are NOT supported. These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game.

I have hd8850m, but the problem is the CPU , Assassin's Creed require at least 4 core CPU to playable, I've tested on my lap and the framerate's below 30fps ( in Boston) .

Ah, okay. I stand corrected. Never even thought much about the CPU. Thanks for the info!! 😀

Your other components are OK but your CPU is a little weak . I have played this game and ASC Rogue on my low end laptop but they both work quite well ! Only Rogue takes a little to load .
