Dell Inspiron 7559 not turning on without power adapter

Just at the title says. Just got the Dell Inspiron 7559 and it does not turn on if the power adapter is not connected. If the power adapter IS connected, then it works perfectly. Am I doing something wrong? What do I do?

If you can, contact the sell and exchange it for a new one. Otherwise you will need to get it serviced under warranty.
