Dell Inspiron 7567 Gaming performing really bad

I got the Dell inspiron laptop hoping i could get at least an average of 60 fps on games like fortnite and overwatch but when I play them it only shows that it's stuttering on 40-55 fps on the LOWEST POSSIBLE SETTINGS. Is there something I'm missing please help.

my specs:
8gb ram
nvidia geforce GTX 1050 ti
4 cores
intel i5-7300HQ
4 logical processors

I have the normal 1920x1080 resolution

Do you think me factory resetting my laptop would help with the fps issues?

Hey there,

did you manage to find a solution to your problem? I'm on the same laptop, has been fine for the first 4 months but now is acting the same as yours. stuttering around the same fps regardless of what settings
