Dell inspiron keyboard

Hello,
I recently bought dell inspiron keyboard. I am disappointed with the keyboard. when I tried to type, it goes all over the place. even to type this, was a difficult task.
Is there any solution to this ?

talking about a full sized keyboard or laptop one?/ with full size keyboards there are legs on the bottom to hold the keyboard in place. if it walking on a smooth surface you can toss a keyboard mat under the keyboard or use a small piece of velcro to hold the keyboard in place.

Did you replace a laptop keyboard? Do you mean the letters don't type right? If that's the case, either the cable isn't in all the way, or it's a bad keyboard.

Neeed more info/better explaination.
