Dell inspiron one

I have a Dell inspiron one and was working on it and it was fine. The keyboard stopped working but not the mouse, would not type numbers. Checked the no. Lock etc, nothing. Don't believe I touched or pressed something wrong. Made the mistake of restarting my computer and now I can't put in my password to get back into the computer. Changed the batteries in the mouse, moved the USB to another port, reset keyboard and mouse. Nothing...can get to signin page, can click on cell for password but then nothing. Help!!

It could be a dead keyboard. And try a different usb port
