Dell L702x Wireless speed

Hi All,

I had my ssd die and had to do a fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium. All went ok but the wireless speed is pretty bad. On speedtests I am getting around 11.Mpbs to 5 when I should be getting around 50. I just did a speedtest with a Latitude %6440 and got 52Mpbs. Its a Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030. I am using Driver 14.2.0.10. I downloaded the drivers and all from the dell website. Is there a better driver out there? What info would you need to let me know a better driver and where would I find that info?

That seems like it did it. Went to 53. Now do you know what will fix the fans from going constantly?

check in your bios to see if it shows what your cpu temp is at & maybe it allows fan speed adjustments.
