my laptop beeps at startup because it has a battery problem, is there a way to turn off the beeping without solving the battery problem?

it always beeps, but i always have it charging because the battery lasts no more than an hour

aparrently its a

Real Time Clock (RTC) power fail

CMOS battery failure

ans i was mistaken, it is a dell laptop

You'l find a CMOS battery on eBay or in your nearest PC store. Make sure it has 2032 printed on the packet and engaved on the battery itself.
