Dell latitude 100l not turning on lights flashing

hi my dell latitude is not turning on any more. I never had a hard drive for it so it was just a project laptop. when it did turn on, Well the last time it did it said something abbout power issues and press f3 it wasn't plugged into the charger when it said that so i plugged it into the charger with the battery still in and it did nothing just flashing the power green the cyllender orange and the battery orange. I have tried to take the battery out and keep the charger in but nothing. Please help!

Sounds like a dead board. The flashing lights are usually an indicator of hardware failure. If there's a pattern to their flashing, you can record that and refer to Dell support for help in what the flash sequence means.

I would say remove all the memory out of the system, Hard drive, and optical drive. then try testing the system to see if you get any different results.

make sure to unplug power cord and remove battery before removing the components.
