Solved! Dell latitude e5400 bios password remover

Do you still know the password? If you do, go into the BIOS and simply remove the option of having the password prompt when powering on. If not, you can try removing the CMOS battery (more than 5 minutes) and the bios will reset. Sometimes this works sometimes it doesn't. If it doesn't, you may want to call Dell and see what they have to say (they'll probably tell you to send it in).
