Hello,
I was wondering on what laptop to buy
I'm planning on using this for uni, whilst being able to play a bit of games on it when I'm not at home (at least Minecraft or Runescape)
However, I think the list of priorities are (from 1 being the most important)
1. Performance
2. Battery life

The models are stated in the title:
Dell latitude E6420
Specs:
CPU : Core i5-2520M @ 2.50 GHz
RAM : 4 GB (One module)
HDD : 120GB SSD
OS : Windows 7 Pro With CoA
DVD-RW : Yes
Web Cam : Yes
Card Reader : Yes
Screen size : 14"
HDMI : Yes
VGA : Yes
Price: 275AUD

Lenovo T400
Processor Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz
8GB RAM
Display Type 14.1 in TFT active matrix
Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Pro
Hard Drive 160 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 7200 rpm (upgrade to 500gb just $39)
or ( NEW 120GB SSD, Super Fast $99 extra)

And for a second question,
is it worth getting the T400 with the SSD

Price: 250
With SSD: 350

Thanks a lot guys 😀

Solution
The Dell would be better because the CPU is a newer design which means it is more powerful than the CPU in the Lenovo. It also consumes less power which technically means better battery life.
