When I plug in the charger the led charging light immediately goes out and the charger turns off. It’s like there is a short circuit or something. I've also tried putting it on without the battery using the original charger yet the laptop won't power on, please any idea?

Sounds like the charging port or the motherboard is bad. You said you tried "the original charger" so this other charger is a replacement? Was the battery swollen on the laptop?
