Dell M5010 AMD Processor issue

Dear All,
My laptop Processor is gone which was AMD phenom 2 X4 N930 , I have searched another processor on web I got AMD Phenom 2 X2 555 processor having AM3 socket ,This Phenom x2 555 can use for laptop or it will be for desktop only,
