I know the msi is way more powerful, but the dell is more compact (which is nice) and has a lot more battery time whereas the msi has a low battery life, well thats what the reviews said.... i like the portablity of the dell, and the power of the msi, although i wont be playing much games except WoW and browsing the internet mostly

any help will greatly be appreciated

thanks in advance!

The reason the Dell is more portable is that is only a 13.3 screen vs 15.4 for MSI, which would be important for games and video. You can always a more powerful battery. Unless portability is way at the top of your list, I'd opt for the MSI. Keep in mind no matter what you'll get you'll be carry it in a bag slung over your shoulder and the weight difference can't be that much
