My sister-in-law needs a new laptop for her work. I haven't the furthest clue when it comes to laptops. She uses the software 20/20 Design. Personally I'd put together a desktop but she travels so that's out of the question.
She has an IT guy that's a friend of her boss, and he suggested the Dell Precision M6800. Though from what I heard he's diehard Dell and just want to make sure he's not being biased. Here's the quote she was given.
I looked around and researched some and I came across the EUROCOM P7 Pro. Everything is base expect I bumped the memory up to 16GB instead of 8. Here's the quote I received.
Cost wise the Dell was priced at $2500 and the Eurocom was just under $1900. Maybe someone can tell me why the Dell is higher and if it's really necessary or better yet which is the better of the two? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
