I guess you can't escape the morons wherever you go. Ive been following this device for months now.
The AT&T network is fine. A recent survey shows that 77% of AT&T users are happy with their service.

Steve Jobs himself said any network they released the iphone on would have the same issues and the "issues" only manifest in the most densely populated places. I live in a major city in Texas with no issues. Too many people read the news and spew nonsense instead of getting the facts.
If you don't like Dell, by all means don't buy their products but I own around 20 Dell devices with absolutely 0 issues. Maybe if your computer isnt working properly, you should learn how to not get all the viruses and malware that you love to blame the manufacturer for.
As far as the Streak battery life goes, maybe you should read this before you start spouting garbage:
"Speaking of battery, we were impressed with the Streak’s longevity. With heavy use – Exchange sync using Touchdown, 3G turned on, and a mixture of media playback, camera use and a few calls – the tablet lasted through a full day."

Other reviews will confirm this.
I was drawn to the site and excited to read that the Streak might be released with 2.1 intead of 1.6. None of the official Dell documents I could find specify a specific Andriod OS version either way, I'm crossing my fingers.
For all your haters out there, if you don't like Dell or this awesome device then don't buy it but I can guarantee no one gives a crap about how much you hate Dell and people definitely don't need to hear you blaming a manufacturer about issues stemming from your incompitence.
