Dell Touchpad Mouse...as I type, I am constantly touching the touchpad which causes the typing to continue on the spot where the mouse was last pointing! Frustrating!!! Any way to disable the touchpad?

Look for one of the f buttons that has either a picture of a trackpad on it, or possibly just spells out t-[ad on it, and then hit the function key and then that key and the trackpad will be disabled. Furthermore if u give us the brand of the touchpad they use, it would be much more helpful in determining if their is anti-palm software for that specific touchpad.

There should be setting in touchpad settings to detect typing and disable touchpad temporary (I think the setting is called "Palm Detect" - sorry, I no longer have my Dell Mini). You can also disable it from BIOS or Device Manager (just make sure you have another mouse handy).
