Desktop not showing

When I power on my Hp A6 vision AMD laptop, it starts and opens where I can key in password and when that is done, instead of the desktop to open, it rather appears with a dark background with only the cursor showing. No opperation can be done on the computer.

Press Ctrl+Shift+Escape or Ctrl+Alt+Delete and Open Task Manager.
At the top left, click:
File -> New Task
Type:
Explorer.exe
Press OK.

Desktop should load fine now. This issue is due to a corruption in Windows Explorer Process. To fix:
Press Windows Key+X
Click:
Command Prompt Admin
Type:
Sfc /Scannow
Press Enter

Reboot.

It should be fixed.
