Solved! desktop wont connect to internet

I have 1 laptop & 1 desktop. Laptop connects to router via both lan and wifi. But desktop (windows 7-64 bit) wont connect via lan (no wifi card).It shows unidentified network with no internet connection when cable is enterd.
Again, my wifi works fine. Any help?

Try another cord. That would be my first option.
