Difference between 2 HTPCs

Hello,
I managed to get my hands on a pc from a couple years back and am thinking of using it for my HTPC rather than building a net new one.

The htpc is going to run Windows 7 and be used to stream ripped DVD (maybe some blurays) from a NAS, internet browsing, Netflix and Hulu. So all in all pretty light stuff. No gaming.

Can you tell me if this pc will give me a good htpc experience:

Mobo: Asus M3A78-EM

Processor: AMD Phenom 9500 Quad core 2.2 GHz

8 GB DDR 2 memory

Thanks for the quick reply. It is a custom build from some time ago so no model number. I'm wondering if a newer build would serve better.

Should be fine, but if you run into issues playing HD content, just add a low-end graphics card. My HTPC runs (and records) everything with an AMD Athlon II X2-240 and an Radeon HD4670 (overkill, I know).
