Difference between Ipad 2 and Ipad Air

I have an Ipad 2 but I am thinking off getting an Ipad Air because it is the newest Ipad. What is the difference?

The iPad 2 pales in comparison with the iPad Air in every respect save for battery life. Its screen, cameras and performance are all significantly worse, yet it costs only £70 less. If you can afford it, the iPad Air is the obvious choice
