Difference between p8700 and i7 720QM

i have a P8700 dell laptop that i bought 3 months back, I was thinking to trade it for i7 720QM dell laptop. I would have to spend 300$$ extra. Is it worth it?

i7 is faster but what do you do with your laptop ? (games,Photo/video editing etc) and also post the full specs of both
