Dim display on Dell E1505

Hi guys.

I've got a Dell E1505 that just started this a couple of days ago. The monitor is dim when it is plugged into the power supply. When it's on battery, it's bright. I don't have the OS that came with it. I have my copy of XP Pro installed. It's been running fine for almost a year.

If it has power managing software (My Toshiba just has toshiba power manager) then there should be a screen brightness setting.

AnandTech guys helped me. It was a simple Fn plus up arrow. Thanks gigman. I don't have any Dell stuff installed. First thing I did when I received the lappy is format and install my XP Pro. Death to bloatware.
