Disable internal battery

Can I disable the internal battery on my laptop (lenovo yoga 11s) and have it run on ac power source only.
Basically not having the laptop run on the battery. As I want to conserve my the life of my battery.

If they had anything like that, it would be a feature in the BIOS. But I highly doubt that they have a feature like that.

I found this but not sure what it exactly does? Like how would you turn on your system after this?

run the battery down to 50% then take it out, i guarantee the laptop won't run on it then and you should be able to store the battery for quite some time.

That sounds like your solution right there! You would just re enable that in your bios if you wanted to turn the battery back on.

The battery is built in and very hard to remove... Could you not just disable it?
