Disabling comments for page posts in Facebook.

I have tried the fix as suggested. I have unchecked allow replies and other people can still post comments to my page.

Is this the process that you followed? I'd find it very annoying for others to post on my timeline. If they want me to see it, why not just PM the post to me & if I'd like to, I will post it! Anyway, hope this helps!

you can't disable comments on facebook pages
atmost you can do is disable message, posts by others, replies to comments, or block a perticular user from commenting

if you don't like people to comment on your post then why you have created the page in first place
just delete it and problem solved
