Disassemble Lid of Asus N550

Hi,

I need to open lid of Asus N550 and add two antennae that I have already bought. I can't find any image/youtube/service manual on how to disassemble it. I don't see any hidden screws..

If anyone has any resource please share.

PS: I believe X550 V500 N550 have identical way of disassembly, lids look pretty identical.

I really need some manual to open N550 lid. Removing whole lid from notebook isn't problem, but I don't see any screws on the lid itself... your article assumes older models. Maybe someone else has seen links.

What is the make and model number of the Antenna?

I found the answer on disasembling LID, so sharing it with the rest of the community. ASUS N550 is similar to the new ASUS series notebooks, all glue gorilla glass to the LID. There is tutorial on ASUS Zen using fan.

hi petar , this is not correct, you can simply disassemble the lid without heating it.
go to the link above (ifixit.com/tear........) and do all steps from 1 to 20 , but for n550jv step 21 is different.
after opening the bottom cover of lid (like picture 1 of step 20 , simply push the cover to right side of display) you can see two screws , open them and push the hole display to bottom of lid(put your hand on touch pad). the the display and touch is now in your hand
